Chrishuna R. Vasser
Chrishuna R Vasser, Administrator of the Greene County Nursing Home, recently joined the GCH family of healthcare providers.
She relocated back to Alabama after being in Oklahoma City for nine years. Chrishuna is also a master's level Registered
Respiratory Therapist who is licensed in Oklahoma, Georgia, and Alabama. She received her associate degree from Virginia
College in Birmingham, AL. Upon credentialing, Chrishuna went on to obtain her bachelor's in respiratory care from
Independence University and master's in respiratory care from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Clinical strengths
include acute, critical, and long-term care with emphasis on pulmonary disease management. Prior to the pandemic,
Chrishuna was the Program Director over the Respiratory Program at Platt College in Moore, Oklahoma.
During the pandemic, Chrishuna obtained her licensed credentials for Nursing Home Administrator and established an LLC,
Universal Safety Services, where she provides CPR/First Aid Training to clinical and business communities using curriculums
from American Heart Association and the American Red Cross. Chrishuna just graduated from Strayer University with d
istinction, receiving a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
She is currently a doctoral candidate at Capella University in the DHA program.
Chrishuna is an active member of several professional organizations such as the American Association for Respiratory Care,
American College of Healthcare Administrators, and the COPD Foundation where she is Oklahoma’s state advocacy captain.
Chrishuna has five adult children, William, Alexia, Harrison, Asia, and India (twins). The newest addition to her family,
baby Bryson, born February 2022, is the love of her life. In her spare time, she likes to participate in 5K events,
spend time with baby Bryson, read and study.
