Richard A. Walls, Sr.

Richard A. Walls, Sr., is the Administrator for the Greene County Nursing Home. Richard joined the Greene County family of healthcare providers in September 2020. Richard received his Associate Degree from the Community College of the Air Force, in 1992 during his twelve years of service. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Magna Cum Laude in 2010. In 2012 Richard completed his Master of Business Management/ Health Care Management with a 4.0 grade point average. After completing the Administrator In-Training program, Richard passed the Board to be a Nursing Home Administrator in 2013. As Assistant Administrator from 2013 to 2020, Richard has held many positions, Pharmacy Technician, Central Supply Clerk, and Certified Dietary Manager to name a few.

Richard is a very knowledgeable asset to the Nursing Home and is dedicated to the residents and the staff that selflessly provide the care to meet the needs of the nursing home residents. His daily responsibilities are far beyond administrative duties, and he routinely interacts with the staff and residents to promote mental as well as physical health.

While away from work Richard enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, fishing, hunting, and boating.
